Anthony Carter signed earlier this week for the veteran minimum, about 1.3 million. After trying to get a multi-year deal from the Nuggets, he realized that Denver is the only team in the league that even wants him and the fact that he gets 20 minutes a game is a miracle. He brings his toughness, play making, and not to mention a “silky smooth jump shot.” He’s not terrible but he has no upside and Lawson should be getting the bulk of the minutes while Chauncey is on the bench.
