Karl: Stop D-Will

Okay, maybe that wasn’t the exact words. However, whatever he said hopefully it is better news than Tim Tebow being drafted by the Broncos, LOL.

George Karl swung by practice and it isn’t that big of news. THAT BIG OF NEWS, at least compared to God’s chosen one? Oh come on, how about the HEAD COACH coming by practice telling the Nuggets a how to shut down a arguably one of the best players in the league, Deron Williams.

According to the Utah Tribune, Adrian Dantley said.  “George said we can’t let him hurt us, we have to take the ball out of his hand. If he comes down on the left side of the court, we can’t have three guys hugging someone on the right side.”

So, what I take that as, is it is Arron Afflalo’s job to shutdown Williams. Of course, it also sounds like Anthony Carter will start seeing some time as well, and hopefully it doesn’t cut into Ty Lawson’s minutes and into JR Streaky’s minutes.
