The Denver Nuggets young center Timofey Mozgov turned 26 on Monday.
Mozgov will be entering his third year in the NBA and is still trying to find a role on the Nuggets squad.
He started 35 games for Denver last season, but it seems his starting job is in jeopardy when the Nuggets re-sign JaVale McGee.
Mozgov has great size and is very mobile, but he never capitalized on those talents last season. Mozgov only scored in double figures in five games, including 15 in the season finale.
His confidence did take a hit after two injuries to his left leg. He is entering his final season on his contract and no doubt there will be pressure on the big man to succeed. If he doesn’t improve his play he may find himself on the trading block.
