The news is incredibly disappointing and is horrible news for the Nuggets. Nate Robinson is out for the year with a torn ACL. He injured his knee in a game against the Charlotte Bobcats on January 9th, and it was first reported as a sprain. Clearly, the injury was more serious than expected and losing Robinson is really going to hurt the team.

Robinson was the best player off the bench for the Nuggets this season. He was averaging 10 points per game, and 2 assists. Now, Brian Shaw is going to have to get creative with his bench and the team may now look to trade Andre Miller as soon as they can. It is likely that Robinson will return to the Nuggets next season and pick up his option. It would be tough for any player to find a team that is willing to sign him after such a devastating injury.
