The Denver Nuggets Preseason Schedule continues tonight with a game against the Phoenix Suns at the US Airways Center.  The Suns have played only one preseason game thus far and it was against European League Team Flemengo at home on Wednesday.  The Suns beat the Euro League team 100-88 and were led by Guard Isaiah Thomas’ 18 points and Marcus Morris’ 7 rebounds in the contest.  The Nuggets are 1-1 on the preseason with a loss to the Lakers in L.A. and a win at home against the OKC Thunder on Wednesday.  Don’t expect the projected starters for the Nuggets to see much action in this one as the coaching staff is looking at the lower end of the bench to determine who makes the final 15 man roster and there are at least 4 players vying for 2 spots.

The Suns are led by smooth shooting guard Goran Dragic and they just signed his brother Zoran as a Free Agent on September 29th.  The Morris brothers, Marcus and Markieff have recently re-signed with the team in a rare package deal that kept them together on the same team for the foreseeable future.  The Suns play an up-tempo game and play with many 3 and 4 guard sets to keep the pace up they are looking for.  The Nuggets play much the same way so this should be an entertaining contest even if it is only preseason game number 3.  As is the case with most of the Nuggets preseason games, there is no local television for this contest.  Check back with NuggLove for a recap of the game tomorrow.
