How can you not love trash talk in the NBA? It makes the game a lot more fun, and of course more interesting. The Nuggets defeated the Detroit Pistons in their first game of the season, and Josh Smith and Kenneth Faried had some words for each other. Smith finished the game with 25 points and 5 rebounds while Faried finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds.
After the game, this is what Kenneth Faried had to say about Josh Smith.
"“Josh Smith, we let him keep shooting. And he ended up with 25, but he still kept shooting. He shot them out of the game.”"
Smith did shoot 22 times in the game, and Faried is making a statement on it. Clearly he thinks he had to do with their loss, and wasn’t afraid to express how he felt. Josh Smith, also did not have a problem expressing how he felt about Faried’s words.
