Well, I’m not sure this is the best strategy when arguably the best player in the world is coming to town, but I like it.

Last night the official Denver Nuggets Twitter account decided to stir the pot in advance of tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers by sending out some tweets featuring a bunch of Cavs players. Conspicuously absent was any mention of Cleveland’s Big Three — LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving. This is A+ trolling and mental warfare at its finest, folks:

Again, maybe not the best approach for Nuggets Twitter to take in terms of providing motivation to James and his crew, especially when both teams are sitting at 1-3 and the Cavs odds of turning it around seem much higher than those of the Nuggets, but it’s gaining national attention, so I’m all for it.

Now let’s just hope the Nuggets players can back it up on the court.
