Rookie shooting guard Gary Harris finally made his debut for the Denver Nuggets tonight and he made his first regular season NBA game a memorable one.

The first year player out of Michigan State rode the pine in the first seven games of the season, but head coach Brian Shaw finally decided it was time for the rook to get in the game against the Pacers. As soon as he hit the court, Gary Harris showed he belongs in the NBA, showing great effort on both ends of the court.

Harris finished the game 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. A fantastic showing in front of his home town crowd and enough flash to give Nuggets fans a lot to look forward to this season. Big win for the Nuggets and it’s awesome that Harris was a part of it.
