The Denver Nuggets are in Indiana tonight to face the Pacers, and tip off is just minutes away. Head Coach Brian Shaw took time before the game to meet with the media and share his thoughts on tonight’s contest:

Shaw admitted he is still tinkering with tonight’s active roster, trying to decide if rookie Gary Harris will finally make his Nuggets debut in his home town, and if Erick Green will suit up as well. He also reflected on the injury situation facing the Pacers, and how he knows exactly how that can impact a team after suffering through a similar situation last year.

For a coach who most agree is firmly on the hot seat, Shaw seems relatively at ease and comfortable fielding all the questions fired at him by reporters. Tonight will reveal a lot about this team following Wednesday’s embarrassing loss to Portland. Shaw characterizes that performance as “a bad night at the office,” which is why he’s sticking with the same starting lineup, but hopefully Shaw will be ready with a quick hook if the starters don’t come out with a fire in their bellies.

Big game tonight, Nuggets fans. Here we go! Nuggets at Pacers. Let’s see if Denver can come out and show fans they haven’t quit on Shaw and the season.
