Kenneth Faried Meets His Mini-Me

Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is generally considered undersized for his position, but that’s nothing compared to the mini-me version of The Manimal:
The video above was recently released by the Nuggets to promote the upcoming Nuggets action figure giveaway that will take place during four games between now and February. The giveaway gets underway this Friday with Denver’s game against the L.A. Clippers when the first 5,000 fans arriving at the Pepsi Center will receive their own Faried action figure, cleverly dubbed “The Minimal” by Faried (and probably the Nuggets marketing department).
The Minimal isn’t exactly Little Penny, but how cool would it be to have a miniature version of yourself that you could carry around in your pocket? Besides, this promotion gets underway just in time for the holidays, and I think The Minimal would make an awesome stocking stuffer for any Nuggets fan.
And for the record, this video is officially the second best Faried ad of the year, hot on the heels of his crazy-bananas NBA Swingman Jersey spot.

- Kenneth Faried action figure – December 19 game against the L.A. Clippers
- Arron Afflalo action figure – January 3 game against the Memphis Grizzlies
- Danilo Gallinari action figure – January 23 game against the Boston Celtics
- Ty Lawson action figure – February 9 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder
