According to the Denver Nuggets twitter account, big-man Willie Cauley-Stien is working out for the Nuggets today. Cauley-Stein, a projected top 10 pick, would be a great fit here in Denver.
Willie Cauley-Stein will most likely still be on the board when the Nuggets are picking, and if he is, then should take him. He has great size as he stands a 7’0 and weighs 240 pounds. He is precense on the defensive side of the ball, and he runs the pick and roll very well.
It would be great to watch Ty Lawson and Willie Cauley-Stein running pick and rolls next year in Denver. He averaged 8.9 points per game last year for Kentucky, and also grabbed 6.4 rebounds. It would not be shocking to see him go before the Nuggets pick, but if he is there, Denver is expected to a long look.
