The key to any NBA front office is unity. From owner, to general manager to coach, decisions need to be discussed and agreed upon by all involved. If this isn’t the case, there can be a disconnect between the basketball division of a team and the decision making department. The Denver Nuggets appear to be focussing on this moving forward.

According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Nuggets coach Mike Malone believes Denver’s decision makers are all unified.
"“We’re a team. There’s no separation between church and state,” Malone said. “We’re together, we’re one, we communicate, and I think that’s so important. But at the end of the day, Tim’s job as GM is to make those decisions, obviously with the blessing of Josh Kroenke. They asked my opinion, I gave it, I tell him what I feel and believe in, and then whatever decision they make I roll with it.”"
The Nuggets have come from a period of strong unity. When George Karl and Masai Ujiri were together, the franchise was run smoothly. Karl and Ujiri were on the same page. Now, GM Tim Connelly and coach Mike Malone, along with president Josh Krenke, are looking to build a bond, which can only strengthen the team moving forward.
