Kenneth Faried has had a fair few coaches during his time in the NBA. Moving into the 2015-16 NBA season, Faried will form a relationship with new Nuggets coach Mike Malone. Its important for Malone to have a good relationship with Nuggets players, as the team attempts to change the image portrayed by the franchise.
Kenneth Faried, as the second highest player on the Nuggets, is automatically thrust into a position of leadership within the team. Therefore, its integral for him to form a bond with Malone.
According to Rappler.com, Faried has already talked with Mike Malone.
“Of course we talked. We have to talk,” Faried said. “We’re excited about this season. I’ve watched film on him, he’s watched film on me. I needed to know what type of coach I was getting myself into. He’s a hard-working guy who has energy on and off the court, so I’m excited about it.”
Malone seems like the type of coach who would love Faried. The Manimal works hard, and gives his all on the court. The problem will be how Faried can fit on the floor, give a lack of shooting from point guard (Mudiay) and center. Its becoming increasingly difficult to have three guys on the floor who are all weak from three point range.
