Diamond Stone | C | 6’10”, 254 Ibs | Maryland

When asked about his about his unique name at the Nuggets’ prospect Q&A, he responded with “A diamond’s a stone so…so Diamond Stone.”  And you get exactly what you might expect from the big, aggressive player with a 7’3.5” wingspan.  He’s a great rim protector with a little bit of an attitude.

Last season, he shot well from the field (56.8%) and from the free throw (76.1%).

His unproven 6-10 frame may or may not be able to last in the NBA, and that may or may not be a risk that any team will take. His body is NBA ready. But, is his mind?
