The Dallas Mavericks are coming to the end of the Dirk Nowitzki era. Like the Grizzlies, the Mavericks are one of the oldest teams in the NBA. Their three youngest players are 22, 24, and 27. The average age of their group of point guards is just over 31. The Mavericks, again like the Grizzlies, will be rebuilding here in the next couple of years. With such an old roster, the Mavericks are bound to hit the reset button in the next couple of seasons.

Their roster is well balanced, but getting a quality rotational player at 46 is unlikely and with their roster becoming a year old it’s looking more and more like the Mavs will be watching the playoffs at home next year.
