NBA Draft

With the draft now just under a week away, Nugg Love will take a look at the top seven worst draft day mistakes in Nuggets history.

This article is meant to show the draft mistakes, but no one likes all negative; therefore, let us start this main page with the two best picks in Nuggets history. Because after all, why not at least start out with some positives.

Camelo Anthony- 2003 NBA Draft- Drafted #3

This was deemed one of the best drafts of all time, and partially because of this multiple-time all-star. Critics can look at it and say that the Nuggets should have taken Bosh or Wade, but in his Denver time, Melo flourished and was one of the top NBA small forwards. This could potentially be Denver’s best pick of all time.

Dikembe Mutombo– 1991 NBA Draft- Drafted #4

Here is just a little stat to prove what Mutombo was capable of. Mutombo in his ROOKIE season AVERAGED 16.6 points per game, 12.3 rebounds per game, and 3.0 blocks per game. Statically, one could argue that that season was his best in the league. Mutombo, who became known for his finger wave after blocking shots, was a dominate force in the NBA year-after-year.

Since showed you the best two Denver picks of all time, now it is time to get started with how Denver has had its flaws in the draft.
