Boston Celtics

At last week’s pre-draft workout with the Celtics, Murray make 79 out of 100 3-point attempts, a record in the Brad Stevens era… that is until Buddy Hield broke it with 85 on Monday.  All of a sudden Boston changed their attitude on the draft, from disappointment after not landing a top 2, and wanting to trade the pick, to “let’s draft Murray or Hield!” Murray believes he is the best player in the draft, and there is a chance he could be someday; he along with Hield and Ingram are certainly the best shooters.

The 19 year old SG/PG could fill the role on the team held by high-value asset Marcus Smart, who the team could pair with a few picks and possibly land a star player.  With glaringly obvious ability and potential, Jamal Murray should be the third player off the board this year. Not to mention he is 6’5″ potentially leading the break for Boston.
