NBA Draft: Top 5 Second Round Options for Denver
Anthony Barber
Anthony Barber, the few I was able to catch of glimpse of him in college, was an absolute lighting bolt in transition. He left his opponents not only in the dust but also in shock at his incredible speed.
Barber will most likely be looked down upon by NBA scouts because his lack of strength and lack of consistent shooting. He averaged 23.5 points per game in his last season with the Wolfpack. Barber shot just 43.4% from the field and a mediocre 36.1% from three-point land.
Here is a draft highlight video of Anthony “cat” Barber.
Barber would be pick for Denver at 53 if he falls this far and if Denver has not already drafted a point guard not to mention they trade those picks.
With the ability so make plays using both hands, Barber may be gone by the time Denver is wanting to get him.
Barber would make a great change of pace back to Mudiay, who blows by defenders with size AND speed. Barber could be great back up to Mudiay if he can put on some strength. Look for Denver to target him late if at all.
