2016 NBA Draft Grades
Indiana Pacers
Georges Niang, SF (50)
Did Indiana just become the Cavs’ biggest competition in the east? They sent George Hill to Utah and walked away with a better, younger point guard in Jeff Teague. Then the draft came along, and swapped only the 20th pick of this year’s draft for power forward Thaddeus Young… the second best player on Brooklyn last season, after Brook Lopez.
The team is getting so damn good, and guys, Paul George finally reached 100% heath over the post-season. Oh and second-rounder Georges Niang; he’s alright, but not likely to make a splash in the NBA.
Draft Grade: A
Next: Los Angeles Clippers
