Minnesota Timberwolves

Kris Dunn, PG (5)

It turns out, the T-Wolves like what they say out of Kris Dunn more than they did form Buddy Hield or Jamaal Murray.  He is potentially the best point guard and defender in the draft class.  They already had one of the better playmakers in the NBA in Ricky Rubio (whose $12 million a year contract is fine the new $94 million salary cap).  Rubio has trade value, and I think Minnesota will find a suitor, otherwise he’s just an overpriced backup.

Karl Anthony-Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, and Kris Dunn, may find themselves toward the top of the standings sooner than you think.  The front-runner to win the 2022 NBA Finals at the moment.

Draft Grade: A-

Next: New Orleans Pelicans
