New Orleans Pelicans

Cheick Diallo, PF (33) *via Los Angeles Clippers

New Orleans is happy, stealing ‘Buddy love’ at 6th overall.  A healthy Anthony Davis and elite shooter right-off-the-bat in Buddy Hield, could put the Pelicans back in the playoff race in 2017.  They also traded picks 39 and 40 to the Clippers for pick #33, Cheick Diallo.  This isn’t a move that will WOW anyone, but they moved up to a big man with great potential for a second rounder, and they weren’t going to get much out of their original picks.
