Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert, SG (20) *via Indiana, Isaiah Whitehead, SG (42) *via Utah

Brooklyn desperately needed to make their way in the first round of this years draft if they wanted to ever recover from their disastrous predicament.  And it cost ’em… big time.  The best Brooklyn could get from one of their high value assets, Thaddeus Young, was the 20th overall pick.

It had to be done, and at least they got a quality guard out of the deal in Caris LaVert.  Whitehead isn’t a bad scorer either.  Still, Brooklyn has a long a difficult rebuild ahead of them.
