Denver Nuggets

Jamal Murray, PG/SG (7), Juan Hernangomez, PF (15), Malik Beasley, SG (19), Petr Cornelie, PF (53)

Denver was happy surprised when the young and talented shooter/playmaker, Jamal Murray fell to them at the 7th overall.  The Nuggets then used pick 15 to meet the team’s last positional need.  Juan Hernangomez will handle the backup power forward role behind Kenneth Faried.

At pick 19 they took the best available player, Malik Beasley.  With no openings left on the competitive Nuggets’ depth chart, Beasley probably won’t play for the team this season unless the team decides to move Gary Harris or Will Barton.  They did really well, I just wish the Nuggets would have made a trade so the bench wouldn’t be so excessive.
