He Is a Do-It-All

Nic Batum is a rare combination of rebounding, passing, defending, and scoring. His stats even prove it.

Batum last season with the Hornets averaged 14.9 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, and 5.8 assists per game. There are very, very few players in the present-day NBA that can average those numbers. He is boarding a lower-tier LeBron type of players.

Batum outside of just being a scorer also has an outside shot that would help stretch the floor for the explosive Emmanuel Mudiay. He does struggle from deep as he has not averaged over 35% percent from three-range in his last two season. The fact is that he has an outside shot, nonetheless.

Scoring is not even close to all that Batum brings. He could bring a defensive presence to a team that gave up an average of 105 points per game last season. Hey, Denver Nuggets, you might want to do something about that. Could Batum be the answer to defensive woes also? Maybe.

Like previously mentioned, the Denver Nuggets know what they would get with Batum: a good scorer, good rebounder, great passer, and excellent defender.

What else does a team need?
