#1: Marvin Williams

Marvin Williams is an ideal stretch-4. He shoots well from distance and can guard both forward positions. Last year, Williams started 81 games for Charlotte and finished with averages of 11.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 40.2% from deep and 83.3% from the line in 28.6 minutes played.

As a former #2 overall pick in 2005, Williams never exactly lived up to the hype coming out of North Carolina. Despite that, Williams found new life in Charlotte this year and was a key player for the Hornets as they nearly knocked off the Heat in Game 7 in the first round of the playoffs.

Watch Williams tear up the Magic earlier this year:

Williams could be a valuable addition to the Nuggets given his defensive capabilities. He can guard both the small forward and power forward positions, which could vastly help the Nuggets defensive versatility. Williams is also a terrific shooter, as he shot 40.2% from the three-point line last year.

His shooting ability would stretch the floor and allow much more room for guys like Mudiay, Gallinari, and Jokic to create plays. He works extremely well in the pick-and-pop and is a great free throw shooter.
