The NBA Free Agency is in full swing, and NBA legend Dwyane Wade has yet to sign his contract. With the Nuggets strong pursuers, what could he bring to DEN.

With Dwayne Wade pondering contract offers from multiple teams including the Nuggets, it may be a good time to discuss what exactly D-Wade would bring to the Nuggets if he chooses them.

The list of possible candidates include DEN, NYK, and CHI as the front runners. Miami has fallen out of contention because the fail to give him the money he deserves.

The Miami Heat’s first offer to this legend was $10 million per year which would be slightly more than Matthew Dellavadova. He is reportedly coveting a contract that would be about $20 million per year.

Wade has proven time and time again that he is worth the money, and it will be interesting to see if he will sign back with his long-time team if they will pay him that.

What can the Denver Nuggets gain from obtaining Dwyane Wade? Glad you asked, here are our three main points.

Veteran Leadership

Currently the Nuggets are a young rebuilding team, yes they are more advanced in their rebuild compared to other teams, but they are rebuilding nonetheless.

These Nuggets do not have a current veteran that is proven in the backcourt, the only veteran leadership is Kenneth Faried and Danilo Galinari. Wade would come in and provide some stability to the backcourt as well as ability to lead this young team.

He can also teach both Danilo and Faried how to be better leaders and help Mudiay grow as both a player and leader.

This is not about money; it is about helping the organization regain its playoff contention like they were before Carmelo Anthony left.
