5. Chandler Parsons– Memphis Grizzlies, four-year $94 million

Like I said, really good players deserve max contracts, but to me, Parsons doesn’t look like one.  He’s been just above-average in Dallas, not exactly living up to expectations, and theres no reason to think he’ll be any different in Memphis.

13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game isn’t bad, but it doesn’t at all justify elite pay.  Memphis did great in the draft, but damaged their future this free-agency.

They will be complete non-factors in free agency next season.
