3. Solomon Hill– New Orleans Pelicans, four-year, $48 million

A desperate signing for the Pelicans.

Not sure why New Orléans felt forced to spend so much on average players.  The dude only averaged 4.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1 assist per game last season.  He’s a defensive wing, and he was decent in the playoffs last season, but this are numbers you don’t want to see in your main rotation.

Hill doesn’t deserve such a contract of this size, not even close.
