Many Nuggets fans still cant believe Murray fell all the way to Denver at the number 7 overall pick.
Seeing him wear Nuggets colors in Las Vegas will help it sink in. An unbelievably gifted and explosive scorer, Murray features tremendous range and the ability to get to the rim and finish. He can create his own shot, and has made some clutch buckets already during his college career at Kentucky.
The most intriguing thing to watch at Summer League though, will be how he fits with the gluttony of other guards on the roster. With the squad featuring Mudiay and Harris, Nuggets fans will get am early glimpse at how Murray will fit with these guys come October. Fans will most likely see Murray play opposite Mudiay at the two, as well as running point with Harris filling out the off-guard position.
It will be a feeling out process for Nuggets Summer League coach Micah Nori, but whatever combination he throws out there, it will be exciting to see.
