The Nuggets came out firing from the three point line in the dominating 106-62. The 44 point win was the biggest win margin of this years Summer League so far.

The Nuggets came out slow to begin the game again, but picked it up a couple minutes into the game, which led to a 65 point first half performance. The Nuggets continued to extend the lead throughout the entire second half, as they excelled on both ends of the floor. The Nuggets only allowed 34 points in the final three quarters, while scoring 78 points during that span. They also held the Grizzlies to 31.5% shooting from the field and only 7.7% from downtown.

Tim Connelly joined the broadcasting team for a couple minutes during the second quarter and provided good insight on what direction the team is going and how they handled the offseason. He explained some about free agency this year in targeting Dwyane Wade and some about saving money for next year and not being pressured into spending money to reach the salary cap floor, as the money to reach the floor is just spread out to the current players on the roster.

Connelly continued to talk about the offseason, stating they took the best player available in the draft and not for need.
