The Denver Nuggets came back and won their first summer league game, but the second was completely different. See the seven takeaways from their blowout win.

They were electrifying. The Denver Nuggets future is certainly bright with these young guys guiding their team. With contributions from most of their team, the Denver Nuggets were able to obliterate the Memphis Grizzles, 106-62.

The Denver Nuggets major contributors looked as follows:

  • JaKarr Sampson– 16 points (on 4/7 shooting)
  • Jamal Murray– 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists
  • Alex Toupane- 10 points (on 5/8 shooting) and 8 rebounds
  • Petr Cornelie– 19 points (on 7/11 shooting) and 7 rebounds
  • Jimmer Fredette– 26 points (on 9/18 shooting) and a +38 +/-

This is a pretty solid lay out especially since there was not a Memphis player that scored above 10 points. The Denver Nuggets won this game on both ends of the court. Their defensive was exquisite while their offense was explosive.
