The Nuggets played suffocating defense

I could talk about the multiple great defensive periods for the Nuggets, but I will let the numbers speak for themselves.

The Nuggets gave up only 34 points after the first quarter. Just to put that in perspective, the Nuggets scored 37 points in the second quarter.

Along with that thought, the Nuggets played excellent perimeter defensive which can be seen by how poorly the Grizzles were from behind the three point arc. They were a horrendous 2/26 from behind the arc. This is just disgraceful. That is just .077%. I wonder who the last team was that shot less than 10% from the arc and actually won.

This can either be attributed to the impenetrable defensive, or just the Grizzles not having their best shooters on their Summer League team.

But, either way, the Nuggets played great defensive last night, and they enjoyed the glory of a 44 point win. Oh, and they are now 2-0 in the Las Vegas Summer League!
