Rudy Gay

With Gallo possible on the exit, Gay would be a perfect fit on this team. He would bring another solid veteran presence in the locker room, and he would bring a go-to-player ability which is something the Nuggets have not had since the departure of Carmelo Anthony.

The Sacramento Kings have been actively trying to shop star Rudy Gay, but they have, so far, been unable to do so.

The Nuggets, who believe that they have the future in Murray, Harris, Mudiay, and Jokic, do not include a small forward in that lineup; therefore, a Rudy Gay type player would be an excellent threat.

Gay has been an animal in his NBA career. His career shooting averages are above-average (45.2% from the field, 34.4% from three, and 79.3% from the three throw line). While not overly impressive, Gay has been an extremely reliable option for his teams over the years.

While scoring 18.4 points per game over his 10-year career, Gay would bring a new dimension to an offense that relied upon Mudiay’s explosiveness last season. This would be a good fit for Denver, but Gay, who is getting to the end of his career, could look to move to an immediate contender.
