Juancho Hernangomez- PF

Juan Hernangomez has just come off a fantastic summer league campaign for the Nuggets in Las Vegas. Hernangomez showed excellent efficiency on the court and at times was the Nuggets best player on the floor.

While there is no doubt that Hernangomez has the ability to play in the NBA, the Nuggets must consider his future with the team.

Should Hernangomez make the final roster, he would likely play very limited minutes with the Nuggets roster being very deep. If the Nuggets are concerned about his development, the option is there for the Nuggets to stash Hernangomez overseas for this season where he could play significant minutes on a nightly basis.

Hernangomez would open the season as the third power forward on the depth chart behind incumbents Kenneth Faried and Darell Arthur. Both of these players have shown the Nuggets proven production, so Hernangomez despite his high ceiling would be very limited in his time on the floor. With all that said, it would be in the Nuggets best interest to allow Hernangomez to play this season overseas and gain valuable playing time and continue his development.
