10 – Minnesota Timberwolves

The Nuggets and the T-wolves faced off four times last season, with the Nuggets coming out on top of the series 3-1. The first game resulted in a blow-out loss that left Denver with a stinging wound. Losing by seventeen points early in the season, when momentum is key, is not something that players take lightly, especially when it comes at the hands of a team that should not be too hard to beat.

When they met again, the game was hard fought, and sent into OT. The Nuggets came away with a narrow three-point victory, which was followed by two more Denver wins that closed the series out on a three-game streak.

In the end, the Nuggets redeemed themselves from the early blow-out loss, and the T-Wolves were left feeling as if they lost control of a series that could have easily been theirs. Watch for the T-Wolves to bring an aggressive game if they match-up with the Nuggets next season.
