Seven Nuggets made the cut in ESPN’s most recent rankings of the top fantasy basketball players for the upcoming season. Check out how each Nugget ranked.
ESPN writer, Tom Carpenter, wrote this piece to help extreme fantasy basketball players such as myself. View the full piece here.
Carpenter moved Russell Westbrook up three spots to the top overall rank, and he is followed by James Harden, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Karl-Anthony Towns. Those top-tier players round out the top five, respectively. For me, the shocker of this group was KAT.
The Denver Nuggets had a spectacular seven players ranked in the top 130 fantasy basketball players for this upcoming season. Think about that for a second. There are 30 NBA teams; therefore, each team should have just over four people on that list.
Sadly, even though the Nuggets have several players on this list, a single Nuggets does not show up until No. 78. That by itself can be taken as an embarrassment for the Nuggets, and their first round pick, Jamal Murray, did not see his name crack this list. Only four rookies (Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, Kris Dunn, and Buddy Hield) made the list.
Therefore, who from the Nuggets made the list? Well, let’s start with No. 7, or should I say No. 118.
Next: Rank #118
