Is this the offseason that the Kings finally pull the trigger and deal DeMarcus Cousins? The rumors of Cousins getting traded continue as we patiently wait and see the outcome.

Could we see a reunion in Denver with All-Star DeMarcus Cousins and head coach Mike Malone? Well, the chances have increased as the Kings have been one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NBA and continue to be dysfunctional.

The Kings have had SIX different coaches since 2010 which was when Cousins got drafted. The Kings haven’t been in the playoffs for a decade as the turmoil continues in Sacramento.  Sai Mohan of Hoops Habit brainstormed a possible trade between Sacramento and Denver in regard to Demarcus Cousins. He insisted in the proposed deal that Denver trades Kenneth Faried, Will Barton, Jusuf Nurkic, and multiple future first round Draft picks for DeMarcus Cousins and Omir Casspi.

DeMarcus Cousins at times can have his temper riled up a bit and could be uncontrollable to say the least, but he is a top 10 talent and at times, analysts have described him as  the best center in the league.

Moments after the Kings traded the No. 8 pick in the draft to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 13 and No. 28 picks, a 2020 second-round pick and rights to Bogdan Bogdanovic, they drafted Georgios Papagiannis with the No. 13 pick in the draft. Afterward Cousins expressed his concern with the drafting of the Kings:

Cousins continues to show his frustration, but is he sending a message to the Kings organization? If Cousins finds himself in any sort of controversy with newly hired Dave Joerger, there is no question “Boogie” could get traded sooner rather then later. Let’s dive deeper into the pros and cons of a potential Boogie trade to the Mile High City.
