Point Guard: Emmanuel Mudiay
Taking the reins as a rookie from previous incumbent Ty Lawson, Mudiay is a lock to be a starter this season. He will look to build off his impressive post All-Star play where he averaged nearly 15 points per game and increased his shooting percentages across the board.
Mudiay’s intriguing blend of size, speed and skill make him a multi-demensional threat and matchup nightmare. He excels at driving to the basket and can finish with either hand or dish to open teammates. In order to take his game to the next level, Mudiay needs to cut turnovers and increase shooting efficiency.
The backup role looks to be Jamal Murray‘s for the taking. He will have to beat out veteran Jameer Nelson, who should see his minutes decrease as the year goes on.
