Nene

A mention must be made to Nene Hilario, a Denver Nugget from 2002 to 2012. This Brazilian power forward is not a bad boy. He is a man of the word. You will see him enter the game and point up to the sky. He is a Christian and a gentle giant. He is a class act on and off the court and has been happily married since 2009.

But who could forget the first round of the playoffs in April 2011. Nene and OKC’s Kendrick Perkins got tangled up and things heated fast. How about this? Nene rarely loses his temper or lets another player under his skin. Leave it to Perkins to do the trick. These big boys stood forehead to forehead ready to GET IT ON!

There’s nothing quite like seeing a force that normally refrains from extracurricular activities go full on beast mode. I have to admit I wanted to see it escalate. Nene could get the best of almost any man in the league but being the reserved, calm, man of few words. It was a a thrill to see this rare loss of temper. As they say boys will be boys. Nene keep doing your thing we admire who you are ,but know deep down everyone loves to see that heated exchange of full throttle power.

But, honestly, who doesn’t love bad boys. They are what make this game intense.
