Coming in at number nine, we have the Serbian center from the Denver Nuggets, Nikola Jokic.

Alright, before you click off of this article and claim that we are showing bias, hear me out. Even after just one year in the NBA, Nikola Jokic has shown the potential to do great things. This big man from Serbia is a lethal offensive weapon, showing us that he has the range to make the occasional three, while also showing off some sweet moves in the post. In his rookie season, Jokic came out of nowhere to take the number three spot in the Rookie of the Year voting, trailing only Kristaps Porzingis and the winner, Karl-Anthony Towns. During his first year, Jokic averaged 10 points and seven rebounds, and he had a respectable 51 percent field goal percentage. The reason he is number nine is because of the potential that he has and let’s face it, there aren’t too many big men in the NBA right now that can show the range and post game that Jokic has.

There isn’t really a true downside to Jokic, or The Joker, as he has begun to be called. When it comes to all of the aspects of his game, there isn’t a glaring weak point to him. I truly think that this is just the beginning, and we could be looking at what could possibly be a great player in the near future, if not even next season.

Jokic is truly a mysterious player, and his potential netted him the number nine spot.
