The Denver Nuggets are already set with all 15 roster spots filled out, but if a trade happens, could Derek Fisher turn into an interesting target for them?

As if the NBA offseason couldn’t have any more interesting headlines, former New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher is mulling a comeback, as a player.

The 24th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft out of Arkansas Little Rock hasn’t played in a NBA game since the 2013-14 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder where he played in 81 games and averaged just over five points and one and a half assists per game.

Fisher hasn’t claimed that he wants to play for any particular team, just would be open to an offer if a NBA club were to throw some money at him.

The Denver Nuggets haven’t been in any talks of signing Derek Fisher, but if GM Tim Connelly were to make that decision, it would not be an addition for the team, rather a bit of a nuisance.

The Nuggets have a packed roster, and hopefully there is no sign of looking to Fisher. We have three big time reasons that Denver Nuggets should in no way glance at Fisher.
