The Denver Nuggets had a spectacular draft, and with three draftees on the roster, Denver had their hands full during the rookie photoshoot.
The Denver Nuggets had an exciting draft with the 7th, 15th, and 19th overall picks and two other second round picks. They were able to draft Jamal Murray with the 7th overall pick, Malik Beasley with the 15th overall pick, and Juancho Hernangomez with their 19th overall pick. By their standards, they had a terrific draft.
The Denver Nuggets were extremely high on Jamal Murray and seemingly were ecstatic when he dropped to them. Along with the believing that Malik Beasley should have been a lottery pick, the Denver Nuggets seemed to completely steal players in this draft. Nugget fans were able to see these steals in action during the Las Vegas Summer League, except for Malik Beasley, who sat in order to rest his leg.
