With a young core of starters, the Denver Nuggets enter this season with hopes of development in key areas for their young team.

The Denver Nuggets will enter this upcoming season with aspirations of returning to the playoffs with a combination of youth and veterans in their starting lineup. The Denver Nuggets depth will prove to be a great strength, but the Nuggets will still need the starters to lead the way and improve their games from last season.

Each member of the predicted starting five for the Nuggets this year has specific areas of their game that they need to improve upon to become better players for the Nuggets. If the Nuggets starters can improve on these key aspects of their game, the Denver Nuggets could find themselves in a good spot come playoff time.

This article will assume a starting five of Emmanuel Mudiay at point guard, Gary Harris at shooting guard, Danilo Gallinari at small forward, Kenneth Faried at power forward, and Nikola Jokic at center.
