The Denver Nuggets are looking at a bright future and choosing Chris Finch could help immensely, but why should he be the man?

Chris Finch has been around the game of basketball his entire life. He was a Division III All-American while in college and has continued to have a passion for the game ever since. Finch has most recently been apart of the Houston Rockets coaching staff and now due to recent vacancies could find his way to the Mile High City.

Marc Stein first reported that the sides may have mutual interest.

One reason that Chris Finch is a great choice for the Denver Nuggets is because he would bring defensive grit. Finch did an interview with NBA.com, which can be seen here, and he explained the impact of defensive:

"JCF: And what are your defensive goals? Chris Finch: We need a total dedication to keeping the ball out of the paint; helping each other and making a wall of defenders anytime the ball gets near the paint and then challenging from there out. We really feel like if we do those two things – play with some tempo, space and freedom on offense, and we play with some physicality and sell-out to protect the paint on defense – then we can really take a step forward even from where we were last year. With a younger team, with a less experienced team, those will be challenges but it won’t keep us from making the improvements that we want to make as a team."

With the same aspirations as Malone, Finch would be a great add to the coaching staff for these three reasons:
