October 29 vs Portland

One of the most anticipated games of the entire season comes in just game number two, against the Portland Trailblazers. The home opener to any new season brings with it an electric and thrilling atmosphere.

It’s a brand new season, the slate is clean, and the possibilities over the next 82 games are endless. Even the most veteran of fans can let their imaginations run wild, dreaming of spectacular plays, a playoff birth and an All-Star selection.

It will be the first time Nuggets fanatics will get the chance to see future cornerstones Jamal Murray, Juancho Hernangomez and Malik Beasley in action up close. Throw in the fact that the match is against division rival Portland, and the Nuggets have themselves quite the anticipated game early in their 2016/17 campaign.

Innately, this game may not mean much, but since it is the first home game for the Denver Nuggets, all should be watching.
