Wednesday, February 15- Pepsi Center- Minnesota Timberwolves

For every Nuggets fan, this game will be just an enjoyable array of young talent competing at a high level, but for the Denver Nuggets, it will be the ultimate test of mental toughness.

The Denver Nuggets take a three game road trip started off in Atlanta, then to New York, and finishing then Cleveland, three very good Eastern Conference teams all in a row. Then, the Nuggets will come home and entertain Golden State in the Pepsi Center.

After that they get a rest day, then they will be back against a high-engery team in Minnesota, and they do all these games in eight days.

Traveling hundreds of miles in addition to playing the NBA’s two top teams will make this game against Minnesota a bit of a breather for Denver.

With seven guys on the roster under the age of 21, if the Nuggets start this trip on a four game losing streak, then they will have to find a way to dig deep against a Karl-Anthony Towns-led Timberwolves.

We actually already got to see a little preview as Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris played their only Summer League game against Kris Dunn and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Also, home court seemed to be key last season as the Nuggets were 3-0 against the Timberwovles in the Pepsi Center.

This game will alluring as two young teams compete to see who will prevail in the battle of the youth.
