Denver Nuggets: 4 Trades Involving Kenneth Faried and a Power Forward
By Blake Holmes
Paul Millsap is now one of the faces of the Atlanta Hawks, especially on the departure of Jeff Teague to the Pacers and Al Horford to the Celtics. The veteran power forward can still hold his own on the court, and would be a fantastic acquisition to the Nuggets. He was drafted by and played for seven seasons with the Utah Jazz, before heading to Atlanta.
He has been playing for the Hawks for three seasons now, and there’s no doubt that they are his best ones. During the 2015-2016 season in which he played 81 games, Millsap averaged about 17 points and 9 rebounds per game. A different aspect to Millsap’s game is the presence of a three-point shot in which he shot a modest 32 percent from beyond the arc last season.
While Millsap may not show the intensity that Kenneth Faried has, he is a very reliable option to have at the power forward position.
