Juan Hernangomez- Overall 71

Juan Hernangomez is the latest international player to be drafted by the Denver Nuggets. Hernangomez has played professional in Spain for his entire career leading up to this season. He had a very good summer league campaign for Denver and his 2K17 should be solid for a mid round pick.

  • Hernangomez is a very versatile offensive player who doesn’t really excel at one specific aspect. He should end up having very balanced offensive stats, with the ability to knock down shots if left open, as well as solid inside scoring. His best rebounding stat should be on the offensive glass, most likely around the 83-84 mark. Hernangomez will also have fairly low offensive consistency due to the fact he had a tendency to get hot and cold on the offensive side.

Hernangomez rating will be lower due to his defensive ability. While he has the tools to possibly become a solid defender, at this point he will lack the physical attributes and defensive IQ stats to be an effective defender. He will likely excel in 2K17 as a very good pick and pop player off the bench, but will be taken advantage of by bigger stronger players in the post.
