The Denver Nuggets had a strong first half start in their first preseason matchup against the Toronto Raptors in Calgary, Canada.

The Denver Nuggets started their preseason off in the right way or least the first half in the right way. They are currently up 57-54 at half.

There have been many story lines that have been displayed throughout this first half.

Jamal Murray was given his chance, though slim. Chandler threw down a nasty reverse game, and Gallo was able to get some quality minutes and points.

The biggest though may be the playing time that Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic were able to have on the court together. “Jurkic”, as this tag team has started to be called, had a solid first couple minutes.
