Denver Nuggets @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Many NBA analysts believe the Timberwolves are primed for a deep playoff push. Given the fact they have made some big splashes with the past three drafts.

With Andrew Wiggins and Carl Anthony Towns  gaining another year of experience this team will be tough match up night in and night out in the NBA. This early match up will potentially show which team is going to make the biggest leap in 2017.

The Nuggets went 3-1 against this fellow Northwest Division team. The Wolves have a new coach in Tom Thibodeau who had a successful run in Chicago that ended in disaster. The Nuggets may be catching this Minnesota team who may still be searching for their identity under a new coach. But the talent level in Minnesota may more than make up for their identity crisis.

Win/Loss Rating: Advantage Wolves (2-1-Even)
